Obrecht-Phoenix and its founder, Fred Obrecht, have deep roots in the construction industry, dating back to 1865. It was in this tumultuous year, as the Civil War was coming to an end, that Fred Obrecht's great-grandfather founded the P. Frederick Obrecht & Sons construction company.
