At age 19, Fred Obrecht forms his first residential/light commercial construction company, working primarily in the Baltimore Metropolitan area

1981
Fred Obrecht joins P. Fred Obrecht Management Co. with his brothers to build, manage, own and operate more than 3 million square feet of industrial/office/retail space throughout Maryland

1993
Fred Obrecht branches from P. Fred Obrecht Management Co. to establish Obrecht-Phoenix as a commercial/general contractor for multi-use products

1993-2003
Obrecht-Phoenix begins on a path of growth and success, winning numerous prestigious "Merit Awards" from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC Baltimore).

2004
Obrecht-Phoenix creates a residential division for multi-residential products and embarks on ambitious condominium growth on Maryland's Delmarva peninsula.

Today
Obrecht-Phoenix has grown to a prominent position among industry peers in the Mid-Atlantic and Delmarva regions, with multimillion square feet constructed.
