After growing up around his father's development and construction business, Fred Obrecht partnered in his late-teens on many of Baltimore's first "Dollar Houses." He moved to the commercial market in the late 1970's as a founding partner of the commercial development and construction company Obrecht & Associates. After developing several million square feet of product, Fred launched Obrecht-Phoenix Contractors in 1993. With his extensive experience in the mid-Atlantic market, Fred has been able to use his expertise in project financing, land development, design, permitting, construction and facilities operations to successfully assist project owners and design teams meet their objectives for quality and cost efficient projects.   Andy Crosby has been an integral part of Obrecht-Phoenix since its founding. He previously worked with Fred at Obrecht & Associates where he was a senior project manager. Prior to joining the Obrechts, he spent ten years with another prominent Baltimore developer/contractor. Elevated to President in 2000, Andy oversees all aspects of the business and is actively involved in the day to day details of every project from initial contact through occupancy and early life cycle. A graduate of Washington College, Andy and his family reside in Northern Baltimore County.   George Arendt joined Obrecht-Phoenix in 2000 as a Senior Project Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2007. His 23 years of construction management experience include industrial, office, retail, medical, institutional, educational, religious and multifamily residential. He is responsible for the daily operations associated with the projects including design coordination, purchasing, scheduling, field personnel, safety and quality assurance. George provides exceptional consumer service and brings a lot of creativity to the construction process. He and his wife and two daughters reside in Lutherville. Rita joined Obrecht-Phoenix in 1993. She coordinates the accounting department and is responsible for financial reporting, bonding, insurance and company benefits. Rita had eighteen years experience in the general contracting, home building and building materials industry prior to joining Obrecht-Phoenix.
